shellsontheseashore asked: I havent watched it but I've heard of a movie called 'The Jane Austen Book Club'. I think if you want something lightly related to Jane Austen you could watch this (:

leyna-ann asked: I saw your post on recommendations, so I have a book recommendation. Have you ever read Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict? I bought the book and thought "it's not going to be that great" but when I got through it, it wasnt that bad. It's not as good as a Jane Austen novel, but it is definitely a good read.
I also read some reviews on some of the "sequel"...

idontlikeamygdalas asked: you should try watching "lost in austen." it's a four episode miniseries where the protagonist, amanda price, trades places with elizabeth bennet. they make a complete sham of the pride and prejudice plot line, but it is absolutely hilarious.
rachelmosby asked: you should watch the Mansfield Park (most recent, although i couldnt tell you what year it was made) adaptation. cause its really good. i mean really REALLY good.
That or the Persuasion with Amanda Root as Anne. She blows me away.

An Austen Life
Today, dearest followers, I have done nothing but watch Pride and Prejudice adaptations. So far I’ve watched Pride and Prejudice (1940), Pride and Prejudice (2003), and Bride and Prejudice (2004).
Anyone got a recommendation that I’ve not seen yet? I will also take other Austen book to film adaptations too. Or any Austen-related things you think I would like.
I would also like some...
